PRANA
Prana is short for ‘prāṇa-śakti’ – insentient energy that animates the physical body. It is, in one form or another, responsible for every movement, experience, expression, and function. It is intimately connected to the breath and consciousness, and thus, of great importance to the practices of yoga. This page will outline the basic theory so that it can inform your breathing practice of pranayama and yoga.
